difference. After I replaced the OEM bars, the first thing I noticed was a significant increase in lean and bodyroll. If you snap the steering wheel quickly back and forth... say at 20mph, there is quite a bit of body roll generated by removing the ST bars. Anyone who has installed aftermarket sway bars will agree they effectively reduce bodyroll and lean. However, there is a secondary, less noticible effect to using the OEM TT bars; and that relates to my initial post. The car feels more glued to the road on surfaces which are less than perfect. Rough patches, which used to upset and bounce the tires, especially the rears, now feel much smoother. The tires which used skip across such surfaces, now feel like they stick better. I swapped out the bars because I thought the harsh ride vs. flat cornering was a poor tradeoff in terms of comfort and ride quality. The increase in contact patch suppleness was an unintended, but pleasant, benefit. gordo
